The Sovereign is the mid-point in a range of memory foam divans that we sell that are constructed from a layer of memory foam laid over the top of a more traditional spring unit. In the case of the Sovereign the layer of memory foam is 40mm thick and the spring unit is pocket sprung and separated into 5 zones. Cutting through the jargon this means that this memory foam divan is very comfortable as it gives you all the benefits of a normal pocket sprung divan (please read some of the descriptions of those if you want to) with the added benefit of a layer of visco elastic memory foam. Visco elastic memory foam is special foam used in divans because of its great pressure relieving qualities and also because it slowly responds to body temperature. The Sovereign is a great memory foam divan for all but the heaviest customers for whom we recommend the Viscolux Indulgence that uses a 70mm layer of memory foam and a firmer spring unit!
