Mattress Review: The Excelsior is a mattress that is made entirely from foam, including a 9cm layer of the most advanced temperature sensitive and pressure relieving memory foam that responds to the temperature and shape of your body as you lie on it. In the case of all the other mattresses on our website, the supportive element of the mattress is provided by a metal spring unit and the fact that there are no metal springs in the Excelsior does make this mattress feel quite different. Nonetheless, because memory foam is a material used to increase comfort in many mattress types, the different type of support offered by the Excelsior is certainly a very comfortable one.

The foam sandwich that makes up the Excelsior is covered in soft stretch material that is very comfortable and breathable. Because this cover can be easily removed to be washed, the build up of unhealthy matter that affects the hygiene of all traditional mattresses over time is not an issue with this mattress at all

Summary : The level of comfort offered by the Excelsior is exceptional due to the depth of memory foam it holds.
